Blood Test

This morning I went to the Clinic and took a blood test to make sure I was really pregnant (even though I knew I was, Brian wanted me to make sure) and the test came back Positive so its a definate. I also set up my first OB/GYN appt for June 18th at 10am. I won't actually be seeing a doctor though. I guess its just an informational appt with a nurse which should last an hour. Thats all the news so far!

I'm Pregnant!

Well as you can see in the picture, I took a pregnancy test today, and I’m pregnant! Obviously this wasn’t planned or expected, and I’m scared, but I also am happy to start this new part of my life. At first I thought I was just adjusting to new migraine medication that my doctor gave me, since I have been tired and nausea, but a weird feeling told me that I dont think thats it, so I decided to take a pregnancy test, and sure enough. I texted Brian (the baby’s dad) and told him we needed to talk, he called me later today and knew right away and asked if I was pregnant and I said yes, it was a difficult conversation to have but I knew I had to tell him first. He had a right to know before anyone else.

I decided to create this blog, because I wanted to be able to keep all my family and friends up to date on how my pregnancy is going and even after the baby is born. Then be able to keep everyone updated on the baby and how parenthood is. Look at it as a inside scoop into my new life.
